During operation, the protective film is often disturbed. Exposed areas are
subject to in creased attack unless the coating is repaired. The self
perpetuating action of EC-451
automatically recoats any unprotected surfaces.

effective, tenacious film which impedes the transport of oxygen to the metal
surface. Unlike some conventional treatments,
EC-485 has low toxicity
and contains no heavy metals.
