DESCALERS & CLEANERS
FOR BOILERS,
RECIRCULATING WATER SYSTEMS
& COOLING TOWERS

EC-900 - C.F.I.A. Registered

Inhibited Descaler and Renovator for Boilers.

EC-910 - C.F.I.A. Registered

Odourless, Inhibited Descaler and Renovator for Boilers.

EC-900 & EC-910 are highly concentrated, inhibited descalers specially formulated to remove scale from boilers, heat exchangers, condensers and similar equipment in all types of industries, hotels, commercial establishments, hospitals, etc.

EC-925 (New Formula) - C.F.I.A. Approval Pending
A fast-acting, odourless descaler that will provide excellent results in light and heavy-duty descaling problems. EC-925 is fully inhibited, economical and will remove most types of scale. (Subject to analysis)

EC-930
- C.F.I.A. Registered

Scale, Rust and Metal Stain Remover. Scale and rust deposits are converted into a water removable material by EC-930's excellent dissolving properties. EC-930 contains no hydrochloric or muriatic acids, it can be used on stainless steel, steel, copper, wood, tile, painted surfaces, etc. Aluminum should be rinsed immediately after use or etching may result. EC-930 is not recommended for use on galvanized zinc surfaces.

EC-950 - C.F.I.A. Registered

“Safer” Powder Acid for Removing Scale Deposit from Recirculating Type Heat-Transfer Systems.

EC-955 - C.F.I.A. Registered

“Safer”Liquid Acid for Removing Scale Deposit from Recirculating Type Heat-Transfer Systems.

EC-950 & EC-955 contain inhibitors, that are less corrosive to metals than muriatic acid solutions. EC-950 & EC-955 dissolve rust and scale more slowly than do some liquid forms of mineral acid, however, they are substantially easier to use. EC-950 & EC-955 contain special additives for increased scale dissolving action. When treatment time is essential, the use of warm water (120 - 160º F. max.) will accelerate action.

EC-960 - C.F.I.A. Registered

Automatic Cooler and Chiller Coil Cleaner. EC-960 is widely used as a cooling coil cleaner and self emulsifying, filter adhesive for cooling coils, in wall units, remote cooling units in ceilings as well as in refrigeration chiller coils. EC-960’s automatic rinse formula, utilizes natural condensation action on chiller coils, to flush away efficiency robbing particles such as soil, grease, lint, and tobacco film accumulations.

EC-965 - C.F.I.A. Registered

External, Condenser Coil Renovator. EC-965 is the ideal product for air conditioning repair shops or any establishment which maintains air conditioning systems. As long as rinse water is available EC-965 can be used to recondition "in place" condenser coils. Safe on painted surfaces, EC-965 cleans and reconditions aluminum coils and fins.

EC-968 - C.F.I.A. Registered

Aerosol, Coil Cleaner. EC-968, a non flammable, portable, aerosol with heavy flush spray, quickly cuts through grease and lint to restore proper air flow and increase condenser efficiency. EC-968 is designed for use in hard to reach areas and small jobs where it is not economical to set up complex cleaning equipment. Just spray it on and rinse off with water. It’s quick, it’s simple, with no messy clean up problems.

EC-970 - C.F.I.A. Registered

Purging Compound & Degreaser for Boilers, Recirculating Water Systems, Cooling Towers, etc. EC-970 is a simple to use, cleaning compound for removing metallic corrosion and other deposits in closed recirculating boiler systems. EC-970 is recommended to be used in preparing a new installation for service so maximum performance can be achieved from the equipment. Shop soils, cutting fluids and other impeding soils are removed by EC-970's high detergency.

EC-980

Heavy-Duty, Granular Softener, Resin Cleaner and Maintainer.

EC-985 - C.F.I.A. Registered

Liquid Softener, Resin Cleaner and Maintainer.

EC-980 & EC-985 will chemically clean the fouled resin bed of a water softener and restore the exchange capacity of the resin. Most types of water softening resins can become fouled with iron and other contaminants that will affect the performance of the ion exchange system. Iron fouling can cause channeling, pressure drop, loss of capacity, hardness and iron leakage. Regular use of EC-980 or EC-985 will minimize fouling, mineral build-up on parts, and extend the resin life in your water softener.
